There was a song I wanted to find for a while and now I have. YAY!
Exciting title, misleads you into reading anti-climaxing news? Well, if it helps - here is some background context.
I think is was mid-last year, when the QUT Arts Festival was on. I was walking out of my Visual Interactions lecture (quite the average day) in F Block. There I saw some QUT music students playing live music, in that mini outdoor theatre place. I was trying to swiftly make my way out of the highly congested area, for my tutorial. In the process, this angelic voice had made its’ way through my ear drums and landed in a warm place in my heart. I instantly was mesmerised by the song
(and may have fell in lesbians with the singer). But I had no idea who she was, what the song was called. Nothing.The melody would randomly play in my head, faintly.However, today, whilst briefly checking my Facebook news feed, I came across the link to the artist!!!!!
Okay so, ‘who is she? What song is it?’, I hear you all asking.
It is called Forgotten by Clare Quinn.
I do also enjoy the other songs featured on her EP.
